Actress Ali Larter is opening up about the rigorous routine that keeps her in top shape for her role on the Paramount+ series “Landman.” At 49, she says she begins many Mondays at 4:30 a.m., with a 30-minute run and follows up with strength training, calling herself a “protein mommy” who eats so much protein all day long.

She shared that her character, Angela Norris, required her to feel confident in her body — so building strength and owning her presence were just as important as the physical aspects. To prepare for scenes in a bikini or revealing wardrobe, Larter said she wakes early, drinks celery juice and coffee, then tackles a workout, followed by an ice-water face dunk, spray tan prep, and coaching her mindset: she doesn’t allow insecurity to creep in.
Despite the intense schedule when filming, she emphasizes balance: on weekends she allows herself to “fall apart,” sleep in, spend time with her husband and children, hike, do yoga and enjoy a simpler pace in Idaho where her family moved after living in L.A.

As “Landman” Season 2 approaches its premiere, Larter’s blend of discipline, mindset, family-first living and body-confidence offers a full picture of how she sustains her career, health and well-being at this stage.
