TikTok influencer and mental-health advocate Emman Atienza passed away at her Los Angeles home at the age of 19. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office has ruled the cause of death as suicide.

Emman Atienza was found dead at her Los Angeles residence on October 22, 2025. The LA County Medical Examiner confirmed the cause of death as suicide by hanging.
Her parents announced the announcement on social media, paying tribute to her warmth and advocacy. In their statement, they wrote: “She brought so much joy, laughter, and love… she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health.”
Her Rise & Impact
At just 19, Emman had become a rising influencer known for her authenticity. She posted lifestyle and mental-health videos on TikTok, building a following of 800K+ and used her platform to speak on bullying, bipolar disorder, and body positivity.
She was also the daughter of Filipino TV personality Kim “Kuya Kim” Atienza and entrepreneur Felicia Hung-Atienza — and the granddaughter of the former Manila mayor Lito Atienza.
