Hollywood heavyweight George Clooney is embroiled in controversy after a claim surfaced in the newly released memoir by Virginia Giuffre. The memoir alleges that Ghislane Maxwell boasted she performed a sex act on Clooney at a party.

Clooney’s representatives are “boiling with anger,” categorizing the allegation as a “grotesque fabrication.” They emphasize that Clooney has never met Maxwell and has no connection to her.

Giuffre’s memoir arranges the claim among others connected to her assault cases against the deceased Jeffrey Epstein complex. Interestingly, Giuffre herself writes she can’t confirm if Maxwell’s claim is true.

Despite the serious nature of the allegation, no legal filings or credible evidence tie Clooney to Maxwell or Epstein’s circle—only the memoir’s inclusion of this claim.

Clooney has not yet spoken publicly about the allegation. Meanwhile, the story adds a sensational headline to the ongoing reckoning of Epstein-Maxwell’s high-profile network.
