Authorities in New York City are searching for three suspects after a 23‑year-old man was violently beaten and fatally stabbed near Times Square early Monday morning.

The attack reportedly took place just after 1 a.m. around West 49th Street and 7th Avenue. According to police reports, the victim was first struck with a baseball bat, then stabbed multiple times — wounds included the back and right thigh.
First responders rushed the man to Bellevue Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
The NYPD has released descriptions of the three suspects:
- One was seen wearing a purple sweater and a black ski mask.
- A second man was described wearing a black jacket, dark pants, and brown boots.
- The third individual is said to have been dressed entirely in black.

No motive has been confirmed yet. Investigators are working to determine what led up to the violence.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward as the search intensifies.
